Battlefield Collectibles

Miniature commemorative battlefield monument collectibles on a wooden shelf

Among the most distinctive offerings at the Antique Center of Gettysburg is our line of battlefield collectibles — commemorative miniatures that capture the monuments and figures of the Gettysburg battlefield in miniature form. These pieces make meaningful gifts, thoughtful keepsakes, and effective fundraising items for reenactment and preservation groups.

Commemorative Monument Blocks

Our "Battlefield Collectibles" are a line of miniature commemorative wooden blocks depicting monuments on the Battlefield of Gettysburg and noted participants in the battle. Each block portrays the actual image of a monument and can be purchased as a cut-out or as a solid block that includes a scenic background. They are an affordable, handsome way to bring home a piece of the battlefield's history.

  • Solid blocks — with printed background scene.
  • Cut-outs — clean silhouette pieces (monument designs only).
  • Quantity orders — available at reduced pricing for fundraising.

Miniature Monuments & Markers

We also offer a complete line of miniature monuments sculpted by a noted battlefield artist and produced by a Gettysburg studio. The selection has included the 143rd PVI Monument, the Irish Brigade Monument, and the 148th Monument, alongside a long roster of regimental and state monuments — the State of Tennessee, the 28th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, the 16th Vermont, the 17th Pennsylvania Cavalry, the State of Texas, the 8th Illinois Cavalry, and headquarters markers for Generals Longstreet and A. P. Hill, among many others. New designs are added as they become available.

Figures of the Battle

Collectors who follow the personalities of the campaign will recognize miniatures depicting Chamberlain, Hancock, Armistead, Longstreet, Lee on Traveller, and Meade's Headquarters, as well as a Lincoln and Tad piece. These make especially popular gifts for history enthusiasts and students of the battle.

Fundraising for Preservation Groups

If your reenactment unit or preservation organization is planning a fundraising event, monument blocks can be ordered in quantity at a reduced price, with the monuments of your choice. It is a fitting way to raise funds while celebrating the very history you work to preserve. Battlefield preservation remains an ongoing effort; organizations like the American Battlefield Trust do vital work protecting hallowed ground.
